Well done Michael, a truly well-deserved award!!!

Also a special mention for Carrie Clarke 9VHS who picked up the enrichment award for attending a whopping 37 enrichments last term (That’s more than 2 per week!) Well done Carrie, now the challenge is on to try and beat that number this term.

Clever Tafarians Win Competitions Cup!

Last term saw OBA’s Houses putting their Brains to the test in a battle of wits in the Competitions Cup. Each form group entered a team into the ‘OBA Big Fat Quiz Of The Year’ and after 2 days of intense quizzing hosted by Mr Donegan and Mr McIntyre Tafari pupils proved that although we might not always win sporting competitions, we are definitely the most intelligent house in the academy. Well done to all involved!

Table Tennis Ace Emily Picked to Play for County

Congratulations to Emily Shone (8SF) who has been selected to play table tennis at County Level. Emily has been attending Table Tennis enrichment with Mr Daniels since Yr7 which just goes to show how much you can progress if you keep practicing something. Well done Emily and good luck.
