Weds 27th March: Non-Uniform Day and a chance to win Easter eggs!

On Wednesday 27th March, we’re seeing the term out in style with a non-uniform day and an Easter egg tombola!

Non-Uniform day for Tanzania

Mrs Quinn and Mr Ellis would like to invite all students and staff to come into school in non-uniform. Students should pay a contribution of £1 on their way into school – this will be collected in buckets by student entrance. This is to provide funds for our 17 students and 2 staff who will be spending 4 weeks in Tanzania, working on a range of projects such as building a school for the local children, so the children have access to a space to learn and gain an education. Students should wear clothing appropriate for the school environment and they will be given some guidance on this in form time.

Easter Tombola for OBA’s brand new PTA

At breaktime, we will be running an Easter tombola on Learning Street. Students will be able to buy a strip of 5 tickets for £1 (cash) and any ticket that ends with a 0 or 5 wins one of a range of prizes that have been donated by local businesses, members of the community, OBA staff and the PTA. The proceeds from this will provide the money for our brand new PTA to organise larger events to raise funds for the students and the school. If you would like to donate an egg, please drop it into OBA reception and if you would like more information about the PTA, please contact [email protected]
