The Business Studies curriculum at Ormiston Bolingbroke Academy is intended to provide pupils with the knowledge and skills required to become outstanding employees or indeed employers. We help to develop the range of thinking and learning skills necessary for examination success, but we go beyond that. We strive to create the innovators of the future, by providing every pupil with the opportunity to develop 21st Century employability skills.

“Businesses are all around us and we interact with businesses every day of our lives – the adverts we see on TV, the clothes that we wear, the food that we eat and the money we spend all involve businesses. Every major business out there was once just an idea in an entrepreneur’s mind that became a  success.”

Mr L Hussey, Leader of Business Studies
