This week’s Attitude to Learning (ATL) champions enjoying a well-deserved hot chocolate treat with Mr Wright.
Using our ATL system, staff record a grade of 1-4 for each pupil in every lesson they attend. With 1 being the highest mark possible for outstanding effort it is the aim of all pupils to accumulate as many as possible over the course of the week. The top four achieving students in Year 7 and 8 are then invited to Mr Wright’s office where over a chat and hot drink they are rewarded with a certificate and OBA pen for their excellent efforts.
Mrs Hasty, Head of Year 7 said, “We love to celebrate success and achievement amongst our students and it is brilliant to see so many having the opportunity to meet with Mr Wright to discuss their accomplishments. I am immensely proud of our year group and I look forward to hearing of even more achievements.”
Miss Porschke, Head of Year 8 said, “It is lovely to see the students excited to meet with Mr Wright and receive their awards in recognition of their excellent attitudes to learning. I look forward to seeing many more members of Year 8 receiving their award.”
Well done to all who have received the invitation so far and keep up the great work!
