Ormiston Bolingbroke Academy

Latest news

We are letting all parents of Year 11 and Year 13 students know that today will be their last day on site for some time.

The cancellation of GCSE and A Level exams means that we are switching our priorities for now and we trust that parents will understand. Whilst our provision next week will move away from revision, we will continue to provide appropriate “work”.

We also promise to keep everyone informed about the award of qualifications so that all our students are able to progress to their next phase of education, training or employment. Here in school, that will mean enabling many of our Year 11 students to prepare effectively for life in the Sixth Form.

I also want to stress that this is NOT their last day in the academy. Whilst we do not know when we will be able to hold our leavers’ assemblies, these will happen and so too, the Proms!

If you think you are a “key worker” or your child falls into a “vulnerable” category, and want us to supervise your child, please make urgent contact with the academy. We are planning this new provision to commence from Monday but we are able to cater for a very small number of students tomorrow if the need arises.

Yours sincerely

Tony Rawdin

Interim Principal
