Year 10 Geography Field Trip
On Monday 25th November 60 Year 10 geography students took to the streets of Chester to carry out their Urban Fieldwork.
The trip involved geographers collecting data along a transect from the city centre and students looked at the relationship between land use and environmental quality through the use of five different methods: Pedestrian Count, Questionnaire, Street Observation, Land Use Survey and Environmental Survey.
Mr Chiles, Head of Geography, said:
Students represented our school exceptionally well when taking part in the visit to Chester. It was a great opportunity for them to undertake fieldwork independently to use in their examinations in Year 11.
