Are you often bored at the weekend? Would you like something exciting to do?
Come along to OBA’s fantastic Saturday Academy!

Every Saturday morning you and your friends can get involved in a whole range of fun activitiesɍ ranging from accredited dance and drama lessons to multi-sports, cooking and crafts – there really is something for everyone!

Enrichment: Around-The-World
Years: 6
Time: 9.30am – 1.00pm
Venue: OBA
Staff: Mrs Snagg & Miss Campbell
Details: Each week you will have the exciting chance to learn about a different country through a range of fantastic activities. Arts and Crafts, Dance, Sport, Cooking, Drama, ICT, Science, Animals, Music and Trips out are all on the plan! This project is a great way for children to meet new people, make new friends and try new things.
Cost: £1.00 per week (breakfast and lunch included)

Saturday Sports

Years: 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9
Time: 9.30am – 12.30pm
Venue: Ormiston Bolingbroke Academy
Staff: Mr Barrett and Mr Hendry
Details: A fun mix of skills, drills and competitive games. Football, basketball, handball, cricket, golf, pool and table tennis are all on offer aswell as use of the Academy’s brand new fitness suite! A fantastic way to exercise while having lots of fun!
Cost: £1.00 per week (drink and snack included)

Years: Primary school students Years 3 – 6
Time: 9.30 – 11.00am
Venue: Ormiston Bolingbroke Academy
Staff: Gill Malloy
Details: A fantastic opportunity to become specialists in theatre-making. In addition to developing skills in character creation, voice use, script writing and story-telling, students will have the chance to experience leading and directing scenes. Trips out to watch popular theatre productions are also on the agenda! Spotlight offers children the chance to develop Performing Art skills, while at the same time enhancing confidence and creativity.
Cost: £1.00 per week (drink and snack included)

While dropping your child off at one of the exciting Saturday activities why not visit our professional hair and beauty salon?
For cuts, colours and a wide range of beauty treatments at extremely competitive prices, Future’s Salon is a not-to-be-missed experience!

Opening times:
Friday: 3.00pm – 7.00pm
Saturday: 9.00am – 3.00pm

To book an appointment, please contact Mrs Bennett at the Academy reception on 01928 711643 between 8.00am – 5.00pm Monday – Friday.
Reception will be open on a Saturday morning from 9.00am.

Parents and Carers are welcome to join any of the activity sessions their children are attending or perhaps catch up with friends in our new sixth form café where there are self-service coffee and vending machines.
