English

Vision

In English, we aim to:

  • Inspire a love of learning where we develop individuals in a creative way.
  • Create confident communicators and enthusiastic readers with analytical minds.
  • Use English to provide them with courageous choices and opportunities.
  • Motivate our students to dare to shine and be the best version of themselves.

English is a powerful, inspirational subject that opens doors to many careers. Students are able to experience the world around them, as well as exploring the past and different versions of the future through various forms of literature. In English, students strive to be the best they can be and embrace the opportunities offered to them to explore a wide range of fiction and non-fiction. This allows them to be analytical, creative, daring and confident.
