Ormiston Bolingbroke Academy is proud to celebrate yet another year of fantastic A Level results, maintaining its record of 100% pass rate since opening its Sixth Form in September 2010.
Studying over forty different A Level and BTEC courses, students achieved their potential and many of them are now heading to universities up and down the country to pursue a range of degree courses.
Following their dream to study at The University of Liverpool are Katie Tyler and Elle Dougan. Katie will be studying English, whilst Elle's degree course will be in Ancient History. Katherine Bates will soon be off to the University of Birmingham, David Banner will be reading Law at The University of Lancaster and co-sponsor of OBA, The University of Chester, has again accepted students onto a variety of different degree courses.
Principal, John Rigby, said "I am very proud to say that, yet again, our students have achieved such amazing results. They have been a wonderful group of students and I am delighted that they have done so well and secured the places at university and in employment that they so deserve. The stunning 100% pass rate is a testament to their hard work and commitment, the dedication of our staff and the enormous support of their parents."
Professor Toby Salt, CEO of the sponsor Ormiston Academies Trust added: "Congratulations to staff and students at Ormiston Bolingbroke Academy on another year of impressive sixth form results.
