All next week at Ormiston Bolingbroke Academy is World Book Week with World Book Day officially taking place on Thursday 3rd March. To celebrate reading and promote the Academy’s English Literacy focus, the School will welcome Liverpudlean poet Levi Tafari and celebrity journalist and biographer Sarah Oliver as special guest speakers.
The authors will be talking about their own work and writing experience and encouraging the students to become more confident in their writing abilities. Special talks from the authors will take place in the school’s Learning Plaza or Library and pupils will have an excellent opportunity to meet and learn from these established writers. Levi Tafari is a unique and exciting poet and Sarah Oliver has recently released several “A-Z” books about popular celebrities which have featured on The Times Bestsellers List.
